Marlon Brando as a grandpa in ‘The Godfather’
Marlon Brando (in hat, as Don Vito Corleone) plays with Anthony Gounaris (as Anthony Vito Corleone) in a scene from the 1972 film The Godfather. This is the part of the film where Don Corleone, his scheming and knife-fighting days over, has settled into life as a grandfather. The film was directed by Francis Ford Coppola and based on a novel by Mario Puzo. Marlon Brando was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1924, so he was just 48 years old when the film came out.
