Young Phoebe Cates in the movie ‘Paradise’

Phoebe Cates (left) wears an unconvincingly "primitive" bikini in the 1982 film Paradise. She and Willie Aames (right, in similarly baffling garb) played Victorian teenagers who are stranded in a desert oasis. Phoebe Cates was born in 1963, so she turned 19 the year this film was released. Willie Ames was born in 1960, so he turned 22 the same year.
