Prince George of Cornwall and Cambridge Biography
Prince George of Cornwall and Cambridge is the first child of Prince William, the Duke of Cornwall and Cambridge and his wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cornwall and Cambridge.
Prince George was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, West London, on a Monday afternoon at 4:24 pm local time; he weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, according to Buckingham Palace.
The official birth announcement from was simple: “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 4:24 pm today. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well.” Two days later, a spokesman said the boy had been named George Alexander Louis, and would be formally known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge.
Prince George is second in line to the throne of the United Kingdom, after his father, the son of King Charles III and Lady Diana. (George replaced his uncle, Prince Harry, in the line of succession.)
George’s first sibling, a sister named Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, was born on May 2, 2015. His next sibling, brother Louis Arthur Charles, was born on April 23, 2018.
