The show was a Survivor-type elimination show, shot in Mexico, in which contestants "were picked partly for their real-life resemblance to their characters," according to Wikipedia. Rachel Hunter was cast as one of the show's Gingers, based on the seductive movie star Ginger Grant played by Tina Louise in the original Gilligan's Island sitcom of the 1960s.
