Brazilian football star Ronaldinho thrills young football fans in Shanghai, China with a visit as part of his tour around Asia on behalf of Nike sportswear. This was somewhere in Shanghai on July 3, 2008. Ronaldinho was born in 1980, so he turned 28 the year this photo was taken. Ronaldinho was born as Ronaldo de Assis Moreira, but in Brazil and other South American countries it's not unusual for football stars to use one-name monikers. Another who did the same was the original Brazilian football hero, Pelé.
