Roy Orbison’s beetle (*not* Beatle)
Late singer ROY ORBISON has been awarded a bizarre posthumous honour - by having a species of beetle named after him. The "Pretty Woman" singer (Orbison, that is, not the beetle) died in 1988 at the young age of 52. Later he was honored by scientists who borrowed his name for the Orectochilus Orbisonorum, a new species of Indian whirligig beetle.
