Sofia Vergara snuggles a Smurf
Sofia Vergara gives a large and intimate hug to Papa Smurf, the patriarch of the Smurf clan, who seems stunned. This was at the world premiere of the half-animated film The Smurfs, held at New York City's Ziegfeld Theater on July 24, 2011. Sofia Vergara was one of the live-action actors in the partially computer-generated film.
Papa Smurf, as always, may be discerned by his white beard of wisdom. He has not been hugged like this since he co-starred with Sophia Loren in Marriage Italian Style in 1964, during his years in Italian cinema. Papa Smurf (much younger then, of course) played Loren's landlord, Rodolfo.
