Stephen King cracks a smile
Horror maestro Stephen King smiles as he arrives to sign copies of his book Lisey's Story at a Borders bookstore on Oxford Street in London, England. The date was November 7, 2006. Stephen King was born in 1947, so he turned 59 the year this photo was taken.
We love that shirt, although it seems pretty casual for a book-signing event in London. Still, if anyone can wear just anything they want anywhere, it must be Stephen King. This guy has nothing to prove to anyone -- he's a multi-millionaire and he's a writer, for pete's sakes. And he lives in Maine, which is not a dressed-up state. If he wants to sign books in London in shirtsleeves, he's going to do it, and god bless him.
