Sterling K. Brown Biography
Sterling K. Brown won best actor Emmy awards two years running, in 2016 for playing Christopher Darden in the miniseries The People v. O.J.: American Crime Story, and the next year for his role on the soapy drama This Is Us.
Brown is a Stanford University graduate who earned an M.F.A. at New York’s Tisch School to pursue acting.
After more than a decade of steady television work, he turned in a charismatic performance as a prosecutor in the series O.J. Simpson trial, as well as starring in the series This Is Us.
The two Emmys helped boost his career, and Brown has since been cast in feature films as well as television projects, including the films Black Panther (2017, starring Chadwick Boseman), Hotel Artemis (2018, starring Jodie Foster) and the reboot of The Predator (2018).
His other films include Marshall (2017) and Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (2016, starring Tina Fey).
