Tatiana Maslany Biography
Tatiana Maslany is the Emmy-winning star of the Canadian science fiction series Orphan Black, which made its debut in 2012.
Tatiana Maslany grew up in Saskatchewan and began her acting career while still in high school, traveling to British Columbia and Ontario for work.
She began working in Canadian television in the early 2000s, with roles in the series 2030 CE (2002-03) and Instant Star (2008). She also played Mary in the highly-rated TV mini-series The Nativity (2010), and appeared in the series Heartland (2008-10).
In the mind-bending world of Orphan Black, Maslany played Sarah Manning and her many clones, which required Maslany to play several characters within each episode. She won the Emmy Award as best actress in a drama series in 2016.
Since then, Maslany has been in the series 23 Below: Tales of Arcadia (2018-19) and Perry Mason (2020, starring Matthew Ryhs), and has been busy as a voice actor, including roles in the Trollhunters animation series and as She-Hulk (2021)
