The Grinch

The cover of the 1957 book How the Grinch Stole Christmas, written by Dr. Seuss and published by Random House.  The book told the story of a fictional grouch called the Grinch, whose heart was "two sizes too small" and who hated the noise and fun of Christmas.  The book was made into a popular animated TV special in 1966.
