Jack Nicholson struts his stuff as The Joker in this promotional photo from the 1989 film Batman, directed by Tim Burton. The Joker is "the leering, cruel, green-haired supervillain of the Batman series of comics, movies and TV shows," per Who2's biography. The Joker was later played by Heath Ledger in the 2008 film The Dark Knight.
