Singing legend Tom Jones is bathed in purple light as he performs live at The Point Theatre in Dublin, Ireland. The date was October 24, 2006. The light makes him look rather like Violet Beauregard, the unruly child in the film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory who insists on munching on experimental gum and ends up swelling up and turning as purple as a blueberry.
