Tony Curtis in ‘Don’t Make Waves’
Tony Curtis (left, as Carlo Cofield) puffs a cigar lit by Claudia Cardinale (as Laura Califatti) in the 1967 romantic comedy Don't Make Waves. We could almost mistake Tony Curtis for Sylvester Stallone in that shot, although this film was released a decade before Stallone hit it big in Rocky. As an aside, Don't Make Waves is notable as one of the few movies made by actress Sharon Tate in her tragically short career; she played Curtis's love interest in the film.
