A 61-year-old pedestrian was killed by TV’s Cash Cab in Vancouver last week, says the Vancouver Sun.
Cameras weren’t rolling and the cab wasn’t being driven by Canadian show host Adam Growe (or by popular American quiz cabbie Ben Bailey) at the time. The cab was being driven back to a storage lot by a producer after filming when the accident happened.
Sad news.
The Canadian version of the show has been on since 2008. I didn’t know until just now that Cash Cab originated in 2005 in London, not in the United States.
