Writer and performance artist William S. Burroughs was born on this day in 1914. One of the 20th century’s Counter Culture Heavyweights, he wrote Naked Lunch and shot heroin (and his wife). He lived to the ripe old age of 83. In honor of his birthday, here are a pair of video clips:
