NBC confirms the rumors. Jay Leno will be back at 11:35 after the Winter Olympic games.
Leno’s show will (apparently) be cut to a half-hour, with Conan O’Brien coming on at 12:05 with what will still be called The Tonight Show.
But the details are “still fluid.” O’Brien hasn’t committed yet, and he’s either “said to be upset” or else “courteous, gracious and professional,” depending on who’s talking.
