The date is set for Jay Leno‘s forced retirement from The Tonight Show. His last day will be May 29th, 2009, and he’ll be replaced three days later by Conan O’Brien.
Leno showed up in a funny bald cap and beard to fire questions at network executives during the NBC news conference. The pre-arranged gag was supposed to be funny (and Leno looked great), but most reporters weren’t buying the good humor.
