Look, this never would have happened if they hadn’t killed James Bond in No Time to Die. But they had to go for the cheap noble sentiment and the big deadly finish.
Three short years without Bond on the job and here we are: Red Grant, the SPECTRE assassin from From Russia With Love, has been appointed Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
His cover? They claim his name is Kier Starmer and that he’s a former human rights lawyer. (Nice ironic touch!) But c’mon: they barely even bothered to disguise him with a pair of cheap glasses. The hair and the mole on the left cheek are dead giveaways! (Even the glint on the nose matches.) This is the official photo from Number 10 Downing Street, mind you. They’re just putting it right out there! Will nobody sound the alarm?
On the plus side, you have to hand it to SPECTRE, sticking with their evil plans for seven decades before finally reaching their goal: complete control of the British government. Dreams do come true!
