Rapper Lil Wayne was scheduled to be sentenced to prison today, but the Manhattan courthouse where he was scheduled to appear had a fire in the boiler room, so his sentencing has been postponed.
This is the second time his hearing has been postponed. The first time was to give him time to have dental surgery, so he wouldn’t be marching off to Riker’s Island with a mouth full of diamonds and gold. The fire started in the boiler room of the courthouse, they say, and early reports indicate there’s no reason to think it was suspicious.
