Watch this terrific video from PBS Digital Studios of a remixed song featuring the late Mr. Rogers.
It’s called “Garden of Your Mind, by John D. Boswell, of The Symphony of Science. Boswell specializes in making songs that teach about science. His other video channel, for example, includes “We Are Stardust,” with Neil DeGrasse Tyson and Richard Feynman going on about some theory of creation.
The Mister Rogers video is catchy, charming and, well… a wee bit creepy:
And here’s one good thing: it’s clear from the comments on this video that there are still people who believe that Fred Rogers was an army sniper in Vietnam, but they mostly get shouted down by people who’ve obviously read our entry on him in the feature Common Bonds: Legends of Email.
