Philip Glass pauses for 4’33” while rehearsing at City Recital Hall before his performance tonight in the annual Sydney Festival.
Glass is performing his Piano Etudes and Wichita Vortex Sutra. Last week the festival showed the 1931 film Dracula with a score by Philip Glass — with Glass and the Kronos Quartet playing it live. Which sounds supercool.
