Happy 70th birthday to you, Roberta Flack.
Many sources (*cough cough*) list her birth year as 1937 or 1939. However, Who2 ran this down a few years ago by checking with her alma mater, Howard University. A very nice registrar there confirmed to us that she was born on 10 February 1940.
She’s 70 years old today, and we wish her well.
