Actor Patrick Swayze has pancreatic cancer but is “responding well to treatment,” according to Reuters.
Swayze’s publicist refuted claims by The National Enquirer that Swayze had been given five weeks to live.
His doctor, George Fisher, also released a statement saying, in part, “Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment so far… All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue.”
