Catching up on a loose end from this week: Randy Quaid and his wife Evi have settled the fraud, burglary and conspiracy charges against them.
Quaid’s wife Evi admitted not paying a $10,000 bill at the San Ysidro Ranch last year. She was put on probation and sentenced to 240 hours of community service. Charges against Randy Quaid were dropped:
“Senior Deputy District Attorney Arnie Tolks said there had been a strong circumstantial case against Randy Quaid but that his wife, who looks after their financial affairs, had been more involved in the transactions.”
And yes, they paid the bill.
