The traditional one-year anniversary gift is wax.
Madame Tussauds revealed its new wax figures of Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge today in London. They were a little slow on the carving — it took four months to create the figures, we’re told — especially since the wedding was last April. Ah, well.
Each figure cost a reported £150,000. And now their upper lips are stiffer than ever.

Their clothes are said to represent the outfits the pair were wearing at the formal announcement of their engagement in 2010. It seems like they’ve made Kate look a even a little skinnier, if that’s possible.
