Who2 adopted a brand new look on April 2nd. We hope you like it.
This is our first redesign in over two years, and it accomplishes several important tasks for us.
We finally have one standard template for all of our profiles, loops, and related pages. This will help readers understand and use Who2 more easily.
We’ve chosen new colors and a new, more readable typeface. Headlines are now in a more attractive (we might even say stylish) sans-serif typeface.
An easy navigation bar has been added down the left side of the page, with links to popular profiles and categories. Besides making Who2 easier to use, it gives us a way to better feature loops like The Bush Clan and interesting categories like Game Show Hosts.
Our old 468×60 banner ads have been replaced with the newer leaderboard style, which has become the industry standard. And we have added 250×300 advertising box on the right, another popular new style that will help us attract better advertisers.
Our new code uses cascading style sheets, or CSS, which we have been assured will help us make changes more easily and also make for morally and ethically “cleaner” code.
What we’ve left unchanged is our most popular feature: the content of our profiles and loops. They continue to be the most reliably factual and entertaining profiles on the web.
