That’s pretty cold, making a dumb headline out of a 93-year-old woman’s hip replacement surgery. We’re just trying to sell some papers here.
But to put it more formally: Zsa Zsa Gabor, star of stage and screen (and of the Miss Hungary pageant of 1936) is having her hip replaced today. She broke the hip this weekend after she fell out of bed while watching Jeopardy.
(We also learned, from the BBC, that the UCLA Medical Center is now formally named the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Noted without comment.)
In truth, we do wish Zsa Zsa well. She’s had a rough few years. Good luck, Ms. Gabor!
